It didn't take us long to fill a gigantic box of strawberries on Tuesday. With the girls helping we maxed out within fifteen minutes of being at the farm.
A friend invited several of us to enjoy a morning of strawberry picking not too far away from town. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will visit again next year. I must comment that I can't help but be reminded on days like this that staying home with my kids...going strawberry picking...taking them to the pool...the library...on a walk...is a great investment in raising the next generation of Americans. I am blessed to be able to spend each day with them teaching them and nurturing them as their mother and not having to rely on someone else to raise them. I am a lucky gal.
