It's okay to love and to be loved.

What I want to remember so I can write it down in his baby book:

In one day only you, Isaiah, managed to do many things that made us laugh our pants off. In the car when we rolled down the windows you yelled from the back seat, "Pew! Plug your nose!" You tackled Evelyn at the dinner table and pulled her to the ground...right out of her seat. You held her tight and told her you loved her. Then you pointed at me, Mommy, and said, "No. Don't love you, love Evie!" While watching a movie you narrated the whole thing with comments like, "Oh no!", "Watch Out!", "Owie!". Then began to pile drive all of us on the couch, stand with your hands on your hips in front of us and flatulate loudly, completely unaware of the effect that would have. You peeled wall paper off the wall in the bathroom of our rental house. That didn't make us laugh. Even that isn't so bad when we look into your eyes. You have so much life inside you. It makes us smile every moment of the day. You don't see yourself as a two year old boy. You live life with a spirit that is ageless. You bring a smile to everyones face that meets you...whether on the street walking by or holding you while you sleep in their arms. Even on days when you should have stayed in bed a lot longer, you still manage to warm our hearts. I love you!
