Here we are decorating our tree!
Isaiah and Izzy. At the tree farm selecting our tree! We also fed chickens and turkeys. It was a fun afternoon!
Since Weezer died we have missed having a friendly cat around here. Buttercup is nice, but she isn't the companion Weezer was to us. We decided this past Sunday to head to the Humane Society to adopt a kitten. Izzy was found trying to climb up into an engine block not too long ago. He was about an inch wide they said because he was so malnourished. They nursed him back to health and explained to us over the phone that he was such a friendly cat who loves people. We found that to be true once we met him and knew he was the one for us. He is sooo tiny and goes anywhere with us. He loves to sleep on our chests and curl up on the back of our necks on the couch. He also loves to sit with us while we read in the rocking chair and nuzzle us on our chins. He reminds us so much of Weezer.

Is Izzy short for something or is that his whole name? Such fun to have a cuddly little kitten for the kids to enjoy.

Izzy was the name he was given at the Humane Society. We all liked it...especially since we sometimes call Isaiah, Izzy. Felt there was no need to change it.
