We went to a live nativity play tonight in a neighboring town. It was a little chilly, but everytime we asked Evelyn if she was ready to leave, she shook her head no. All told we spent about 30 minutes in 10 to 15 degree temperatures. Regardless of the thermometer, it was well done and seeing the story played with real people and animals really brings it home. I don't think it was as cold the night Jesus was born as it was tonight, but being born/giving birth in a barn couldn't have been much more comfortable.
