It's okay to love and to be loved.

Walkin' in a winter wonderland!

We received several inches of snow yesterday. Evelyn grabbed her shovel and went to work clearing the sidewalks with our seventy-one year old neighbor, Denise. That Denise will put anyone to shame. She shovels several times a day if need be as well as shovels the curb area. Darrel our other neighbor helps out by snow blowing the sidewalks. He was out yesterday with no hat to cover his ears or gloves for his hands. His jacket was a sweatshirt. He is such a sweet man to take extra time to help us clear our side-walks. Today we are going to make ginger bread houses and we baked a few extra ginger bread men to give to Darrel and Denise later. It is so good to have such nice neighbors.

Tonight we are heading to an Ugly Sweater party! We are so excited! My mom is down visiting and is going to be our babysitter tonight. It will be great not having to be home at a certain time to relieve the babysitter and cut her a check for some big bones. My mom also brought down one of her Christmas sweaters that just so happens to fit the bill perfectly for tonight! Thanks, Mom! You are helpful in so many ways!
